Since 2014, ColorCreative has aimed to change the landscape of film, television, and digital by acting as a pipeline for diverse and underrepresented creatives. Our initiatives are helping to breed the next generation of screenwriters, showrunners, and filmmakers.

James Bland

Current Gig:

Creator, showrunner, and star of the award winning series, GIANTS, James is currently writing a feature film that has been selected for our Sony/Columbia film lab. He is also developing a scripted dramedy with Gunpowder & Sky.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][vc_column_text]

Syreeta Singleton

Current Gig:

Writer/Creator of SO JADED (ColorCreative),  Syreeta began as a writers assistant and Script Coordinator for HBO’s comedy series, INSECURE. She is currently a staff writer for Apple’s upcoming series, CENTRAL PARK and is writing a comedy feature that has been selected for our Sony/Columbia film lab.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_column_text]

Shawn Boxe

Current Gig:

Writer/creator of BLEACH (ColorCreative), Shawn has written for HBO’s SILICON VALLEY seasons 4 & 5. He’s also currently a co-producer on BET’s BOOMERANG.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”44px”][vc_column_text]

Ihuoma Ofordire

Current Gig:

Angel Rivera

LaDarian Smith

Runner-up in ColorCreative’s FRESH WAVE contest, LaDarian recently secured his first job as a staff writer on a new, as yet unnamed series for Disney.
